Thank you for visiting!

Do you need paint, rust or other surface coatings removed?

An A-Peeling Solution is now at hand!

A-Peeling Solutions' versatile, modern, ecologically sensitive and efficient system will be the answer to your toughest challenge.

Check out what can we do for you!

A-Peeling Solutions is led by Ken Kiddie. A qualified ship yacht and boat builder Ken has owned and run a general engineering business for 16 years before starting A-Peeling Solutions. This background has provided a wealth of experience in the problems associated with the removal of paint and rust corrosion and the control of corrosion in particular. When first being shown this new system the decision was made to bring it to everyone facing similar challenges with boats, hotrods and machinery. Since then, many more uses, such as cleaning concreting tools and moulds, have become apparent and been added to the growing list of services.

Ken personally trains each new team member before they begin work on customers projects and oversees all work to ensure the highest standards.

Media blasting defined.

Abrasive blasting, Soda blasting, Sand blasting, Garnet blasting and water blasting are all forms of media blasting. Other media such as salt, sugar, walnut shells, talcum powder and soaps of various kinds are also used for specific Paint Removal, Rust Removal, Paint Profiling, Cleaning, Polishing and texturing applications.

Pros and cons of the various methods of paint and rust removal.

Sandblasting and Soda blasting are generally done with large volumes of compressed air. Sandblasting is the tried and true method of Paint Striping. Rust removal and Paint Profiling. It is fast and less costly than other Media Blasting methods. Loud noise and lots of toxic particles in the air make it unsuitable for outside use in today's ecologically and safety conscious world. Heat is also a serious consideration on more delicate things. Overheating causes distortion of panels and other sensitive objects.

Wet Sandblasting has some water introduced to help control the dust but it reduces the efficiency considerably. It does reduce overheating as well but introduces vision problems and cost.

Soda blasting is a more gentle method. Loud noise, toxic airborne dust. overheating and cost are the main things to watch out for with Soda Blasting. Rust removal and paint profiling of steel for painting are not as easy with soda blasting as with more versatile media blasting.

Rust removal, Paint stripping, Profiling, Polishing, Cleaning and Etching are often best done with modern, ecologically sensitive, quieter forms of Media Blasting such as Apeeling Solutions Versatile, Very High Pressure, Low volume Media assisted Water Blasting. This system uses all types of media introduced in small quantities to the low volume very fast stream of water. This gives very good control of the operation to reduce the risk of distortion, to eliminate the dust problem, to make the clean up easier and to keep the noise down a lot.
